What happens next
Within working hours, to confirm the address, check nothing needs swapping, and agree a delivery window.
Every item is checked against the manifest before it leaves the shop. Anything out of stock, we tell you before dispatch, not after.
In Nairobi and surrounding areas, we assemble the bed in the room it will be used in and test the mattress pump before leaving - assembly is chargeable, we'll quote it beforehand. Everywhere else, the bed arrives flat-packed with a step-by-step video, and we'll walk you through it live on a WhatsApp video call if you'd like a hand.
Bed liners, gloves and diapers run out monthly. Message us and we will send the same items again - no need to re-explain.
Common questions
Can I remove or swap items?
Yes. Message us on WhatsApp with what you want changed and we will send an adjusted quotation. Most families swap the wheelchair or add extra consumables.
Do you assemble the bed?
In Nairobi and surrounding areas we offer assembly for a fee - tell us your location and we'll quote it.
Everywhere else, the bed arrives flat-packed and goes together with basic tools in about 30 minutes. We send a step-by-step video with every delivery, and if you'd rather have someone talk you through it, message us and we'll do it live on a video call.
What is the difference between a single and double crank bed?
A single crank raises the head only. The double crank in this package raises head and knees independently, which is more comfortable and stops the patient sliding down the bed. Both come complete with a standard mattress.
How long does delivery take outside Nairobi?
It depends on the route. Send us your location and we will confirm timing and cost before you pay.
Do you buy equipment back afterwards?
We do not, but beds and wheelchairs resell reasonably well privately in Kenya. For care expected to last under three months, ask us about the lighter specification instead.
